Their entire show is made up as they go along, basing their skits, or "missions," on audience suggestions. Some of their games are similar to those of the popular TV show, Whose Line Is It Anyway? They also include audience members in some of their skits. The members of MiSSiON iMPROVable met as undergraduates at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After performing there for two years, they moved to Chicago, where they trained at Second City, Improv Olympic, and Annoyance Theaters and worked with Liz Allen, the legendary long-form ensemble coach. Soon they were playing at the Improv Olympic and showcasing in festivals all over the nation. |
