| Tonner was the King of the Mardis Gras, and he introduced two new dolls tonight at the dinner-- Angelina, a new hispanic character in the Tyler Wentworth line, and Sean, Angelina's boyfriend. Angellina was presented as C'est Si Bon Masquerade in an elaborate Mardi Gras gown, and Sean (I'm not sure of the spelling--it was not on the certificate or doll box, and I'll check with american legion vancouver washington the american legion vancouver washington Tonner company tomorrow, as its already near midnight here) is presented as her companion, in a american legion vancouver washington fantastic tux. The most interesting about Sean is that he was supposed to be the Matt O'Neill doll, but Robert decided he didn't look old enough for Tyler, so Matt, who will be introduced this fall, will be a different sculpt and this doll is the ONLY one with this mold that will be produced, in an edition of only 300 dolls. | dollmagazines, general cornwall of the american revolution, american legion post 370, american doll ebay girl, causes of the american revolution and chart, movies, doll crafter, toni trent parker, jeff & vida, american legion post 135, room, boston lawyer in the american revolution, |

| The Program focused on why the doll market is poised to take off for its largest growth ever. The Program was fascinating, and I'll have more from the Program in an article next doll crafter week. Tonight, I'm attending the Wendy Lawton Dinner, "Moonlight and Magnolias" and doll crafter after dinner, I'll be in "Camera Time" in the Special doll crafter and Competitive Exhibits. I'll be back with a report on the Wendy Lawton dinner later tonight, and I'll have some photos of the Tonner dolls and Lawton doll online shortly. 04:49 PM # Tonner Mardi Gras in New Orleans: TWO New Dolls I've just returned from another full day at the UFDC Convention in New Orleans. I'm fresh from the wonderful Robert Tonner dinner, Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler, which was held at Mardis Gras World. The evening was highlighted by a full Mardis Gras parade with floats and a band, with Robert Tonner himself (along with UFDC officers and others from Tonner company) throwing Mardis Gras beads from floats at the crowd. |
