First published in 1890, and the most comprehensive orchid book of its time, there was a second edition townsville in 1895, and a number townsville of later editions which did not have the color plates lithographed. Glikbarg 26. Watson in his introduction emphasizes his goal of simplifying the botanical descriptions while maintaining ample cultural notes.
